NiftyDeals ("we", "our", or "us") is a UK deals service available on the web and through our Android app. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and safeguard information when you use NiftyDeals.

We may collect account details you provide, such as an email address or username, plus deal activity such as submitted deals, saved deals, votes, comments, referrals, click-outs and moderation/admin activity where applicable. We also collect technical information such as browser or app user agent, device type, operating system, pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, referring pages and timestamps.

The NiftyDeals Android app is a controlled WebView for https://www.nifty.deals. It does not request sensitive Android permissions such as precise location, contacts, camera or microphone. Data collected in the app is the same type of website and account data collected when you use NiftyDeals in a browser, plus app/device diagnostics needed to keep the app working.

We use essential cookies and local storage for login, guest saved deals, voting preferences, consent choices and site functionality. We may use analytics tools, including Vercel Analytics, to understand aggregate product usage and diagnose performance issues.

NiftyDeals is reader-supported. When you click deal, voucher or retailer links, we may earn an affiliate commission. Affiliate networks and merchants may receive information needed to attribute the referral, such as the clicked URL, timestamp, device/browser information and order attribution where applicable. We may also use Google AdSense to show adverts. Google's advertising cookie policy is described at policies.google.com/technologies/ads. If you are in the UK or EEA, consent controls are shown before personalised advertising where required.

Deals link to external retailers, affiliate networks and content providers. Their own privacy policies apply when you leave NiftyDeals. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of external websites or apps.

We use technical and organisational safeguards to protect personal information. We keep information only for as long as needed to operate NiftyDeals, comply with legal obligations, prevent fraud or abuse, resolve disputes and maintain security.

You may request access, correction, deletion or export of your personal information. You can also opt out of marketing and withdraw consent where consent is the legal basis. To request account deletion or data deletion, email privacy@nifty.deals from the email address linked to your account and include your username if you have one.
